A good friend of mine is an ad rep for my metro area yellow pages. He is the rep for two HUGE counties in my area. I have been threatening to collaborate with him for several months after I found out about this niche. (Would love to know how AP structured a JV with a yellow page rep for $30k upfront as well as gain access to the 4 Word docs referenced on WF)

Now I am ready to implement my business consulting practice. I think there is a ton of money to be made for myself and the rep. I could write the copy and integrate online and offline marketing for the client with GKIC style marketing, AR's along with online and offline ad tracking. The YP rep keeps his client and should be able to increase sales and make his bosses happy.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding best practices for the YP rep to refer clients? Anyone have actual experience working with yellow page ad reps?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Since Yellow Book has started thier 360 campaign I don't think this is an option anymore.

I have a deal with my good friend Eddie who is a Yellow Book sales manager. He throws me websites if I promise not to sell Internet Marketing to them.

YellowBook in my area does PPC management, Organic SEO and all sorts of stuff.

I haven't tried to hit him on the idea of an autoresponder joint venture yet... maybe that would be a good route?

    Any other experiences with this?
