    Hello Everyone!

First I would like to offer my apologies for not posting for so long. I have been supper busy with family health issues and running my business. I finally have gotten things squared away to some degree and would like to offer this post as an example of what can happen when you follow the process as outlined by AP.

A few months ago I landed a client for 12,000 down with a 1200.00 monthly maintenance fee using the techniques taught by AP and also from the advice of many on this Forum and Mark's Forum. (I will be posting this on Mark's Forum as both have added value to my business life.)

If you want to read how it all started and what happened on the second interview you may do so by visiting Dexx’s forum using these two links. It would be quite a long post if I was to outline everything all over again.

Now In an effort to offer some value to this forum I would like to continue sharing what has happened with this client in the last few months.

After signing the agreement and determining how best to serve this client it was determined that I would perform both offline and online marketing. The client has a manufacturing business and sells both wholesale and retail. Additionally they had a website which needed to be completely overhauled. (This has taken up lots of time)

I will not mention the product as I have signed a non disclosure agreement and need to protect the client’s interests as well as my own. Below is part of the agreement outlining exactly what was to be done for this client online.

Please remember that AP teaches to try and use as little online marketing as possible but in this particular case it was important to get their website seen so that is why there is so much being done for their online presence.

    Online Services Being Performed:

•E-mail/phone consultation (Up to 2 hours total general Internet orientation education, marketing strategy, Web design consultation, and helping client learn to use their own webpage editor. Additional education and consultation is at our hourly rate of ($75.00 per hour.)

•Search Engine Optimization We will provide expert advice on SEO. To start things off we analyze and prepare a detailed SEO report for you.

•Keyword Research and Discovery In order to gain high ranking for client's website keyword research will be performed to discover which keyword phrases are relevant and how much search volume those keywords get.

•Google Local Business We will manage your local business listing to maintain high visibility with local markets while ensuring ranking for targeted keywords triggered by local searches pertaining to your industry. We will also submit your listing across all the major vertical directories for a consistent listing throughout all directories

•Search Engine Marketing We will strategically AND manually submit your website to one thousand (1000) various search engines and directories to give your site maximum exposure and also to get good back-links from the directories which help your rankings. This will ensure your website is crawled and indexed by leading search engines quickly.

•Social Media Marketing We will book-mark your site for six months to 30 high ranking social media sites. These 'tasks' include creating your profiles, creating and updating content, and book-marking you're URLs.

•Article Marketing We will create twenty (20) 100% original and totally unique keyword rich articles for you. And distribute those articles to leading, high PR article directories. This includes manual submissions to top directories, unique submissions to hundreds of other sites and automatic submissions via 'article marketer' totaling one thousand article directories.(1000)

•Video Marketing We will create (6) videos and promote the videos to twenty (20) leading, high PR video portals including YouTube, Google Videos, Viddler and tens of other video portals increasing your search engine visibility.

•Back Links Getting good, one-way back-links from other websites related to your niche is one of the most powerful, yet most tedious and neglected aspects of search engine optimization. We will submit your link to one hundred (100) high PR sites in your niche with anchor text leading back to your main site.

•Blog/Forum Marketing We will research and identify leading Blogs and Forums in your niche. We will go to up to one hundred (100) of those sites to write comments and post replies while strategically dropping your website URL. Your website will get very good exposure in your industry and you will become a renowned expert in your field while helping to build your credibility online.

•Press Release Writing and Distribution We will research and write press releases for you business specific to current trends in the industry. We will also distribute these press releases to all the major news sites and PR site for maximum exposure of your products and website.

•Website Re-Design and Optimization We will create and publish new keyword optimized content to your current website and re-structure the shopping system integrating with payment merchants and auto responders for client retention and marketing.

I found this to be quite time consuming and without the help of outsourcing partners it would have been an uphill battle for me to do all this work. Luckily I found a couple of good programmers on Elance and also found a great video producer which has been of tremendous help to me. The nice thing is that I speak to her directly over the phone and on Skype, which makes getting things done really easy.

I recommend using Skype as much as possible when working with outsourcers. Another pretty good service I have found is a company located here they are a bit slow in responding but they get the job done.
They also offer Local Business Listing – Exclusively for the United States, United Kingdom & Canada which might be of some use to some of you here which don’t live in the US.

When I started with this client they had a website which had no SEO to speak of, no links, no videos, no ranking and no visitors. Now after only a few months they are being found in the Google local search for many terms pertaining to their industry, their videos are showing up everywhere and are ranking first page in Google for a couple of the chosen keyword phrases, with some decent search results and low competition.

I am also presently working on the offline marketing part of our agreement which will include customer re-activation, customer retention, product placement in retail stores and direct mail marketing. This should really get their sales going and should secure a decent living for the next 12 months for me and my family.

I know this post is not very detailed but I will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding it. Hope this helps some of you to get motivated and not give up on doing business offline.

    Warm Regards,
    Rolando

Thanks Dexx! I'm happy to be back on the Forum again. I will do my best to keep updating as I start to get more clients. Have not been able to do any prospecting in quite a few months now. Oh, as for the health issues things seem to be stabilizing "Thank God!"

Very nice - well done Ronaldo... and inspiring, too.

One of the links you provided to SubmiInTime.com helps me as they offer a submission service to canadian online business directories for a reasonable rate. Will use them for one of my clients.
BTW, what is your experience with this firm re: SEO/SEM?

thanks and good success for the future (we are not talking "luck" here - you have engineered your own success).

Thanks for that link for submitinme. When you say they took longer than you expected, how much longer? I notice on some jobs they specify 5-7 days. Did it take longer than that?
