    Hello Guys,

I wanted to share with you what I did over the past 2 days. I scoped out this italian cafe and decided to go in and ask if I could take pictures. The general manager said YES. So I took out my little Panasonic TM-15 HD camcorder / camera and started to snap pic and record little short video clips and then I left.

I went back to them today and the owner was still not there so I talked with the general manager (the guy in 2nd in charge.) to see if he could look at my stuff.

When I showed him what I had he was blown away. I not only created a short video for them, I also created a website for them aswell, because they did not have one. He said that the owner would want both the site and the video.

Check out what I put together for them: http://amicicafe.razorwebsites.com Click on the slide show to see the video that I made.

(Hey Dexx, I made this with a Mac )

I am sure this is a check ready to be cashed.

    Thanks Don for the idea.

    Hello Dexx,

Yes, Razor Websites is my site that I send clients to that want my Web designs. I was a Flippa flipper before I started to really get serious about this offline stuff. I still love to do website design, but I just need to see what this offline business stuff is like ya know.

Man it was crazy, I just walked in and said I want to take some pictures of this lovely bar that you have. They said sure why not. lol. Came in the next day and their eyes were poping out. lol.

Dexx, go ahead and get the Mac, it is worth it. I created that video in like 10 minutes after B.S. ing with the workers that work there, I just shot little clips. Then I did edits with some Mac only software. lol. I would not be able to do this on my PC. I tried. I was even impressed how it came out. Just a little photoshop here and there with PNG images, and BOOM, a high quality video.

I used a Panasonic HDC-TM15 a super small hand camcorder. I got it when it about 8 months ago for $550 from best buy, now you can get them for half that price. I love the quality of this camcorder. Plus it takes pictures.

I used IMovie to pull the footage off my camera, and then I edited it in ScreenFlow. I love Screen Flow.

Hello Winston, I think that I will charge in the $1200-1500 price range. It is worth every bit of it.

I thought about offering something like this with a mobile version also and if paid annually $1,997.00 which would include video, website, mobile website. Paid monthly would have a $497.00 setup and be $147.00 a month.

Not yet. But I have been including these in my consultation packages that I have agreements on now. Just not restaurants. I had already built these sites and showed them during AP's blueprint process. This played a big role in closing the deals and helped by only having to make minimal changes later. One was a dentist and the other a financial advisor.

    Hi BigTom,

I went to their corporate page and took a screen shot of the logo (I could not find a jpeg, or png) and cut out the background in PS. Changed the cut out into a png, and then put it in my video I created in ScreenFlow.

The Amici cafe is something that I see I need to work behind the back of the general manager. He was a little intimidated once he saw that somebody else was doing things for his boss that could take his job away. It was all over his face. So I will be sending the owner a letter, working with him directly.

I did get a landscaper that I got $800 up front and $300 a month on Friday.

I saw that he was advertizing locally with PPC. I called him and asked if he was happy with is results, and he said no. So then I had him. I will be drawing in some leads for him.

My first offline client. Good stuff. More to come.

    Don,

    1) Did you put your video on the existing site or one you created?

I put my video on the site that I created. This is for Amici's I assume you are talking about.

    2) What is the "$300/mo" for? What "service"?

The landscaping guy just said, "send me some more leads." He was paying some seo company that $300 a month. I found out that he was not happy with them so I convinced him to sending that money my way so that I can get him some results.
I will be doing a video monthly for him, and some direct mail. Maybe a little seo article marketing.

    3) How...will you be collecting the Monthly Payment?....by sending an invoice....charging their credit card...?

I will have my aweber autoresponder send him a monthly invoice to his email address. He will be sending me a check to my address monthly.
