That confused you, did it ?

    What I mean is following

Get for your target market a keyword you would like to have clients, or a client.

Check out AdWords Ads and jot down the advertisers, usually local companies.

Check out where they are in the organic searches for the same keywords.

If they are NOTWHERE in organic search you have a potential client because......

Why they/he should throw endlessly money at AdWords for a click if YOU have the solution to get him on page one for his business for UNLIMITED traffic.

I got my first client this way. He spend 2k for AdWords managment and another 6k a month for PPC, detail = for a LAUSY service.

I will get him a decent PPC managment with a 50% cost reduction and a better ranking in organic searches for 1k a month.

    Actually he ECONOMIZES about 50%.

Underpriced ? Yeah, maybe but remember, it's my FIRST client and hopefully there are more to come due to his testimonial.

Next one will have to pay more.

And I set a 20 client cap, +20k a month is fine with me.

Let them get a little nervous if they know that they maybe will be denied as clients.

Man that feels great to be at the leader position.

    Thanks AP for your inspiration.

Are you opening a new adwords account for them or are you using their existing account?

    Hi Winston

If you can you should KEEP the exisitng account as a new Google Account will have a lower Quality Score. Google takes CTR into their calculations to give your ads the QS. Actually a silly thing and I can't understand this but what can we do against big G.

    Hope that made sense

Yeah man, Main Street is an expensive mile :-o

Seriously, all it takes is a way you find out a VALUE PER CLICK for a great keyword, and the biz which are paying for top spots but which are NOWHERE in organic search.

Then get the average traffic volume over the Google KW tool for the EXACT MATCH and get a average CTR of around 2% - 3%.

Those 3 items will get you an average sum the guy spend for his spot if he runs his ad for a whole month.

If someone pays half a buck for a click or more, then you can try to make that call to him or send him a mail or make a short video about his "wrong" marketing etc.

You can charge almost all you want' if you are cheaper then what he spend now.

If he spend 10k a month in AdWords, bring him down to 3k for the SAME volume of CONVERSIONS or even better (not traffic/visitors - very important) and charge 2k a month for it....

His BENEFIT - minus 5k in marketing expenses for A BETTER RESULT, ALL WHAT MATTERS FOR HIM.

    He's happy - You're happy

The EASY part of this IMO is that you talk to a potential client which is already SPENDING SIGNIFICANT MONEY IN ONLINE MARKETING.

He has a budget for Internet Marketing :-)

It's easier to convince such businesses that the Internet is THE place to be, just explain them that he hasn't found the honey pot yet = organic top spots.

Ad Words can pull off your product. Although it involves a lot of money, i think it is significantly efficient. After all, Google is the world's most used search engine.

Only if you do it properly.

    For example:

~ Test each version, and keep testing against new ones - Even Capitalising Each Word Like This can make a difference (but sometimes in the wrong way!).
~ Make sure your your client has a specific landing page
~ Make sure your client has a good landing page
~ Make sure your clients has the back end in place (someone to answer the phones properly, enough stock, etc)
    ~ Etc

I use my client centre for dealing with multiple acounts, this way all my clients are accessed from one account. I here what you're saying about starting off with a low qs but I've found this to be the case for 1 month or so, as long as you have relevant ads and landing pages and google sees you pay your expenses.

Well, I can't actually agree to this.

My client spends now, after I took over the account, 4k a month vs 6k before. Anyhow, #1 for the main keyword is a shitty site which is against all rules and even doesn't advert in AdWords.

I made a thread in the Off Topic section to get some feedback from you guys cause I don1t understand this.
