I was at a conference run by some top players - a couple of them were quite rude about it: its expense, its ease of use, and its ethics.
I've not used it myself, though, so make sure you get many more opinions!

Anyone have any experiences with the software?
Seems very flexible and suitable for the marketing needs of most clients...I really like the ability to change follow-up emails based on the actions taken of people within the list:
ProspectA receives follow-up email about a new product launch and clicks on it.Seems that Infusionsoft is the only software capable of doing such a thing? (Other programs allow for moving of lists based on optin to a new list, but not based on clicking a link within an AR)
ProspectA then gets added to "hot list" for that product launch, while other prospects that didn't click on it will receive no further information...
Thoughts?

Dexx - back in the Warrior thread you started which eventually led to this forum (on pg 27, comment 1310), DogScout had this to say "I was an Infusionsoft client for 3 months. Perry Marshall and Dan Kennedy use them (God knows why). Personally, my own set of ethics prevent me from doing business with them. That is my only comment." You might ask him privately what he really thinks. ;o)

Well I just signed up for the basic membership level myself (as of 10 minutes) ago, so I'll keep you guys posted...who better to provide a reviw than my own experience with it!
They have a lot of features rolled into one that I like, including postcard/letter mails in the follow-up series (similar to SendPepperMarketing.com but these guys using AmazingMail.com ship INTERNATIONAL while SP only does USA) as well as integration with mobile marketing using BoomText.com
Quite the "impressive package" to show clients in my mindmap...and I'll have a chance on Tuesday to do just that...we'll see how it goes!
Cheers,

Dexx, a cheaper alternative and on the test drive it looks like it has all the bells and whistles that you could ever need and that's Nanacast. The only thing is you need to keep your email marketing software (Aweber, GetResponse etc). It does upsells, downsells, integrating with your email software, they also help you set up a merchant account etc and it's only $97/month or $147 if you want to self brand it. It looks far better than InfusionSoft.
What I loved about it, is that you can have updates appear on your members/clients/customers control panel and automatically enroll all customers to your affiliate program too.
Here is the link:
Nanacast.com (Affiliate link)
Nanacast.com (Non-Affiliate link)
Let us know what you think of InfusionSoft.

I've seen a couple sites using Nanacast and was less than impressed honestly, and I was talking with Maria Gudelis on the phone a couple weeks ago and she also said she wasn't a big fan of their stuff either (as she had been using it to manager her affiliate/membership stuff previously)
But I will def. keep everyone posted (especially with how prospects respond to seeing the services provided by it)
Cheers,

EDIT: PS - The reason why I'm looking at Infusionsoft is because I'm pitching a $15,000 setup + $5,000/mo plan to a prospect and really need to "blow them away" to pull it off (in my opinion) for such an amount. It will be my biggest deal ever *knock on wood*
That's a nice little deal when you pull it off, Dexx.
Worth going the extra mile for!
Looking forward to reading the results - with the prospect and infusionsoft.

Be careful with Infusionsoft.
I was a big fan of theirs until I talked behind the scenes with some Heavy hitters in the IM business.
Some of them were very ticked off with the program, others liked it.
It's more attractive now that the price has dropped substantially.
Last year the setup fees were $5,0000 plus a heavy monthly fee.
Now they have come back to earth making it affordable to the masses.
I'll be watching you to see how you like it.
Good luck.

The Epic thread started by Dexx http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...GlFihTPccZ8tb9
Would someone be willing to elaborate a bit on the ethics problem Infusionsoft presents?
Is it with the people putting it out, or the way the software works?
Thanks..
Hi Guys,
One of our users (bluesquares.net) has extensive experience using infusionsoft. When he migrated to Nanacast he was so enthused with the experience that he created this detailed video mind map comparison:
Nanacast vs Infusionsoft which one is better?
His video is not so much about how one is better than the other... it addresses the more important issues of how people can focus on "Time to Market" and eliminate complicated integrations and what you can really expect from Nanacast and Infusionsoft from a highly experienced user perspective of both platforms.
Also note that Nanacast is integrated with Infusionsoft api for those that still want to use their crm for follow up.

Dexx,
Infusionsoft is quite costly.
I'd be interested to know if you would include the cost in your fee, or whether the client would pay Infusionsoft directly.
Thanks
Rob
Nothing converts like video.

I ended up cancelling (and getting a refund) from Infusionsoft, and that was a nightmare in itself.
Here's a good rule of thumb for everyone: See how easy it is to cancel a subscription/membership prior to signing up with one!
Infusionsoft's "billing department" goes straight to a voicemail machine, and nobody ever gets back to you (seriously, Google it) meaning YOU CAN'T CANCEL.
Lot of complaints and reports of people having to call their CREDIT CARD COMPANIES just to put a stop to the payments and issue chargebacks...a horrible, horrible, business model that Infusionsoft should be ashamed of.
So ya, avoid Infusionsoft like the plague if you ever wish to actually stop payments (not to mention they don't really have any of their own services...most of what they offer require 3rd part integration through their API)
Going to do a test run of Nanacast once I hear back from Josh on free trial details...I'll keep everyone posted =)
Cheers,
~Dexx
Hi Dexx,
I renewed those coupons so that trial is now once again active using the instructions found here:

You'd be surprised how many people come to us after a similar experience with infusionsoft... one client even spend $6k with them trying to get a simple internet marketing business integrated only to finally realize it would never work the way he needed it to. He came to us a few months ago and since then has done almost half a million dollars in business through our platform.
Thanks for your support.
Regards,
Josh

On the other side of the coin ... I am a Virtual Assistant and have been setting up and maintaining Infusionsoft accounts for my clients for about 5 years now. When I first started working in IS, there was an initial cost of $5,000 and then a monthly cost of $299. The company has done away with the initial cost now and depending on what you want, the monthly cost is either $299 or $199.
As with any high-end CRM with the extensive capabilities of Infusionsoft, clients do have issues from time to time, but I have found their support department to be extremely helpful every time. So helpful in fact, that on many occasions, I've been able to connect with some of the top people in the company to work out issues.
I have clients that use 1SC, aWeber, iContact, Constant Contact, Swimcart and other platforms, and for my higher end clients, much prefer to use Infusionsoft. The capabilities of the system can't even begin to compare with the flexibility and options in Infusionsoft, and find their customer service to be terrible. So, right now, I still recommend Infusionsoft very highly to my clients if IS looks like the best solution for what they need.
Warmest regards,
Terry Green
I just spent the day going through a (new to me) service called AllClients.com, whose adwords ads headline is "Poor Man's InfusionSoft".
I have to say, I am quite impressed with AllClients.com's solution. I had been looking, for the longest time, for some alternative to InfusionSoft for tracking my prospects and clients in my consulting business. I wanted something that was more than just an email autoresponder, and I don't need an online shopping cart, I wanted something that would automate my follow up sequence for me.
AllClients does that by including email autoresponders, deal tracking, to-do lists that you can preformat and apply to new contacts that includes the three different methods of communication I use: phone, email, and postal mail. It integrates mail merge for printing out direct mail pieces, etc etc etc. I'm telling you, I'm just about sold. Plus, it's only $19/month, or $29/month - depending on how many features you want it to have. Pretty slick!
I'd at least check it out before dropping $199/month on infusionsoft (which I've never tried, but have looked at).
Disclaimer: I have NO financial or material interest in the sale of allclients.com's services.
holy crap, i just found another awesome feature of allclients.com: pre-made newsletters that you can send via email or postal mail. They write a whole newsletter for you, automatically add your info and title to it, and then make it easy for you to send it out whichever method you choose. You can also download it in .doc format so you can edit/delete/add your own content to it. Super sick!!
Wow, I've been looking for a CRM that fits my business and I can recommend to clients, and AllClients really looks like it fits the bill. I am still considering writing one from scratch, but to be honest I don't know if it would be any better than what AllClients is.
Thanks for the heads-up, yodude711, I'm going to check this out!
