I suggest adding a section to the forum devoted to outsourcing of services.

Outsourcing of services like offering your services for sale to other members?

Or more for discussion on outsourcing YOUR services to have done by others etc.

    (Just so I understand)

If the demand is there, for sure I'm down for creation another section, I'm just weary in spreading out the discussions to much since some forum sections are barely being used as is (i.e. The suggested How To Section etc)

I might suggest that threads just be created in the main discussion area, and as more and more discussion continues on the subject, we can then branch them into their own sections?

    Thoughts,

    ~Dexx

Dexx, I agree with you . . . too much segmentation causes the topic to get lost in the mix. Posting the thread in the "Main Discussion Forum" would be the best place to park it, for now at least, since the forum is relatively young. I think it would be visible to more eyes since the Main Forum tends to be the first place people start their search for new threads.

How about this. Keep all new topics whereever people put them. If the number of posts on the same subject gets to a specific threshold (say 10), then it gets branched off into its own section.

Same with the already created areas. If by a certain date, 10 threads (or whatever number is deemed) then it gets deleted and any threads get rolled into the Main Forum.

I figured the How To section would be a big hit. However, there is not enough real world experience with the members yet to get people to come back and populate that.

    Supply and demand.

I guess that makes sense - keeping it in the main discussion area for now, and yes I was referring to discussions about subcontracting work out. Seem to me this is a very important aspect to this business.
