Hi everyone and thanks Dexx for creating this amazing community.

My name is Merle and I live in Leduc, Alberta Canada. (Dexx, I can almost see your house from here. Opps, clicked the wrong emoticon )

I've been lurking around OGF for a few months and picking up a lot of great tips from some of you and it's about time I start to participate. What I need to do NOW, and what I'm struggling with, is taking action and getting out there and making contact with businesses. I've been a fan of some of the old-school marketing experts and studied some of their methods and I literally wake up thinking of marketing ideas. I had a great idea for an air conditioning business the other morning when the radio said the forecast was for a warmer than usual day. Did I take action and call or email the local air conditioning business and sell them my idea? No way, 'cause I'm a chicken (besides, now it's cold again). I know Dexx, "Take Action".

My goal on here is to get to know some like-minded people and learn lots and help whenever I can in return.
