Looking for new offline clients?

If you are in the "offline " consulting and offering online services then you you should know that one of the "prequalifying " points for such prospects is that they already should have a website.

That is the first indication that they somewhat understand the power of the Internet (at least they got a website) and that is where you start approaching them with your offers rather than trying to go blind without even knowing if your prospect is interested in online marketing at all.

The fastest and easiest way to find new clients is to contact them by e-mail. Where to get those e-mails? of course, online! Easier said than done. I know. It's a pain. Takes hours just to compile a small list.

The only way to find those e-mails is to get them from the actual business websites. I'm not talking about buying massive " who knows where they came from " unqualified untargeted lists which are sold and abused in mass.

If you are targeting a particular business category in a particular city or town and you want to make your approach based on personalization then you must do a more detailed research on each and every site to find the " points of personalization such as e-mail, associated business URL, associated telephone #, etc.

So when you contacting a business by e-mail you can specify his URL, his tel # and the city and category this business belongs to. When you send such an e-mail containing biz details it makes a more positive impact on a biz onwer attitude than blind non-personilized message.

If you ever tried to compile a list of your prospects online then you know that it's a pain and takes a lot of time.

I can do a research in your chosen city and market niche and compile a lists of local businesses in that category.

I do reasearch for that niche in your local yellowpages, other popular local directories of your choice (if they are suitable for research and if their listing is worthwhile to look at that is,for example, if they have a more comprehensive listing than YP), and, of course, mr. google, mr. bing and mr yahoo.

For example, if you intrerested in " Edmonton plumber" then I do a research in the plumbing category for Edmonton in all specified online resources (if they are suitable for research)
