Theres a LOT of companies offering white label SMS Marketing solutions out there. The backend to a SMS Marketing Business is a complicated system and really not something most people want to build themselves or manage themselves.

Quick poll...
I know SMS Marketing has been a hot topic lately, and I'm no exception. I've been living and breathing this stuff for too long now.
My question is this. If there was a solution out there that would allow you to run your own SMS service, whether that's managed or you just resell it to your client. That would have marketing materials, sales materials, contracts, graphics, etc. And would even allow you to white label it into your own brand or those of your clients.
Would there be any interest in this? And what would it be worth to you?
I know that is kind of vague, but I'm just playing with ideas here.
What would you pay on a monthly basis to have this white-label ecosystem to setup accounts at what not? I'm just trying to gauge what interest there is out there.
In full disclosure, I'm looking at a solution that I'd be able to white label to offline consultants. I would then create all the supporting materials needed, and provide training, coaching, etc.
The investment is quite large, but I'm willing to take the risk if there is interest from some parties out there.
Thoughts??

What you are looking at building is already being done. I have a SMS paltform through Avid Mobile and they offer everything that you are looking at doing. You can purshase a "shared" shortcode with just about any provider out there for around $2k per month / $150 per month per client and you should be able to get your messaging for around 1-3 cents per message. This is not a bad deal but here's the "hitch"... you are going to be in direct competion with the company which you are paying to be in the industry!!! This makes zero sense!
If you want to get into Mobile then i would suggest just getting a private label and selling to retail clients (mom and pops / local retailers) other then tryin to gain white label resellers. Just my 2 cents. I wish you the best of luck on whatever decision you make.
