    I'm sure we've all read success stories, I'm wondering if we can chime in and say what we think the common factor is across them all. I'm thinking things like: determination, hard work, good timing, etc.

    Actually taking action and not worrying about every little detail =P

    Not being afraid to make mistakes and learn from them!

    Persistence and Desire.

    You have to want it so bad that NOTHING will make you quit.

    You have to be obsessed with whatever you want to get or do and you can't be afraid to fail. Every failure just brings you that much closer to success.

    I learned these things from the book "Think and Grow Rich" - READ IT!

    AND...

    I was lucky enough to find the poem below (at 18 yrs old in a hotel gift shop), memorize it, and have used it as my credo in life ever since. Silly as it may sound, nothing else has helped me more. Every time something gets in my way and tries to stop me, I recite this poem to myself and then keep going.

    Don't Quit

    When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
    When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
    When the funds are low and the debts are high,
    And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
    When care is pressing you down a bit
    Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

    Life is queer with its twists and its turns,
    As everyone of us sometimes learns,
    And many a failure turns about
    When they might have won, had they stuck it out.
    Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
    You may succeed with another blow.

    Often the goal is nearer than,
    It seems to a faint and faltering man,
    Often the struggler has given up
    When he might have captured the victor's cup;
    And he learned too late when the night came down,
    How close he was to the golden crown.

    Success is failure turned inside out
    The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
    And you never can tell how close you are,
    It may be near when it seems so far;
    So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
    It's when things seem worst that you must not quit!

    I say that is wrong, I come from an extremely successful family. I think it is the desire of wanting more than you already have.

    That "impossible" is only a personal opinion, and not a fact
