I will meeting with an offline client soon and they want some SEO done on their site? My question is what sort of links should I build to help this client with their SEO. For sites that I own I will typically do article marketing, social bookmarking, Web2.0, high PR blog commenting, etc. Now when dealing with offline SEO clients I'd like to keep it safe and not venture into any sort of grey area as far as SEO goes.

Besides article marketing what other types of links building do you guys consider for your offline clients? Is High PR blog commeting or building Web2.0 sites on wordpress, blogger, etc. with articles that link back to client's site OK to do? Any suggestions?

I would mix it up and pick a variety of backlinking methods. Some methods are more time consuming than others, so I would really base it upon the budget of the client.

Content creation methods like article marketing, Press release syndication, video marketing, blog creation/writing, are more time consuming. These would be hard to do for lower budget clients who are just wanting to try things out to begin with. But other methods like Social Media bookmarking, blog and forum commenting, and social media profile backlinks are less time consuming and you can create a lot of backlinks fairly quickly.

There are many ways to create backlinks for SEO purposes for clients. It's best to mix things up so you're not putting all your "eggs in one basket". But the types of links you do for each client will be dictated by the results your client is aiming to receive and their budget.

I anticipate you need to have the same types of links going to an offline client site as you do for any other types of sites. Just accomplish sure to have good and relevant and high quality content.

Do relative backlinking. For doing proper SEO you need to get backlinks from those website which are related to your client website. In other words those website which are related to client's business services. Search engine give good ranking against this type of linking....
