What are YOU thankful for?

Before I go into my long spiel, I want to hear from some of my friends here. Those that don't know me are welcome to respond as well.

I'm Thankful for the opportunity to decide for myself what kind of lifestyle I want to live, and have the ability to achieve it by helping others =)

Unfortunately, some citizens in certain countries aren't so lucky.

I am thankful to know Jesus and the assurance through salvation of my position with God.

Thankful that I live with such incredible freedom given as a gift to me by others en each of the generations for well over 200 years, being the longest continuous peaceful transitions of power in the history of the world.

For my wife and four children who are eager that I be able to be at home with them every day and the incredible joyful reception I receive even after being gone for a couple of hours.

For the giving of others in my life, be it friends, family, or "virtual" friends who are willing to give just because.

The ability to help others.

Amen, newbie. I am thankful that because of Jesus, and His position in me, and my position in Him, I am able to stand faultless before the Father. Secondary, I am thankful that I now know it.

I have a great family - a wonderful wife, and a terrific son. I have great in laws that love me and support me - and, are helping me in the shock of my own family being changed.

Sorry to bring this back up again - I am thankful for great memories (both pleasant and learning) memories of my recently deceased mother.

Also - VERY thankful for my brothers and sisters in Christ - I have found that it's natural for men to feel alone, rejected, and isolated. However - thanks to my "family" that God has put me into, and, through the different experiences in my life, I can take down my guards - and, AND - feel the love and affirmation that I AM DESIGNED TO NEED from people that are happy to give it.

On the orkut team, we're thankful for a lot of things. We're thankful for our families: our loving parents, siblings, spouses and children, who sometimes put up with our long hours at work. I am thankful for my health. I think it is not self-evident to be healthy. Besides this I am thankful for my friends and family.

Because when you have nothing and someone give you a chance to move one step ahead that is a better hand than anything else.
