Positive Changes: New Website

Hey guys and girls

When the epic thread started at WF I decided it was time to facelift my company website using all the ingredients discussed:

USP
Call to action
Credibility boosters
Testimonials
etc etc

I just did 70% of what was advised and quite frankly, the results are very good. More people calling us is the first visible effect of those changes.

If you still have a website that does not follow those "rules"... it's time for you to develop a new one. Focus on credibility and call to action and you'll see a dramatic increase of phone calls.

Read whats needed and do a test for a couple months - you won't regret it

I'm in the process of tweaking my own USP, and I've ordered new business cards that have a "direct response" action associated to it so they have more 'value' in the eyes of a person I give them to... i.e. not just getting tossed to the side

I've always tweaked my sales funnel, and doing all my interviews in the first meeting (making it longer) etc.

Its one thing to read all the strategies and tactics, its another to take action...thats what separates those that get results from those that wish they got them!

We also have new biz cards and a new folders to deliver our material.

We had a special price with our trusted print shop and 1K cards + 500 folders (A4) in 4 colors came for less then $200.

Impressive how a simple folder can change our positioning when meeting with prospects/clients.

And for the "action", that's damn right: no use for so much information if we don't use it to our benefit and to keep getting better.

Don, it's not really about websites....

Truth be told, 99% of people I deal with already have websites....

What they want (whether they realize it or not) and what I focus on is...

L-E-A-D-S !!!!!

Once I show them HOW to get them LEADS, they're all EARS. I give them a
different 'tune' than most everyone else, i.e. SEO, First Page Google, etc..

...and I usually put them on Google Places and get em on or in top 7.

Those two testimonials on my site both had websites already.... (the attorney still
doesn't a email capture page...He wants me to work it but now he's too damn busy! after
I got him on the map for 'tenant landlord lawyer'...
