A couple of reminders..

I only teach "whitehat" methods that are fully within Google's Terms of Service. In fact, one of the first things I will tell you is to NOT put keywords in the business name section of the listing, like a lot of other people are telling people to do. That's a direct violation of Google's TOS, and yes people are getting away with it right now, but Google will catch up to them and punish their listings accordingly.

I encourage you to attend Charles Harper and Ken Anderson's webinar Thursday night at 9pm. I've heard a lot of great stuff about them, and I attended their webinar the other night myself. I don't know exactly what they're teaching, but I have no doubt that it's of great quality for the price tag that they're asking. That said, if you'd like an alternative to their course at a fraction of the price and with more individual attention (judging by their WSO I'm sure they have well over 100 students already), then come back to this thread after their webinar and shoot me a PM on how to get started.

Just a note to everyone else, the listing I helped Sean with was a brand new listing. They are sitting at the top with zero reviews and 1 citation from their own website.

Brand new listings usually take 2-4 weeks to come out of the Google Places sandbox, for lack of a better term (and yes, the Google Places sandbox does exist), and get indexed for keyword searches other than business name searches.

I can get existing listings into 1, 3 and 7 boxes in as little as 20 minutes to a couple of hours for some keywords.

They are FANTASTIC!

I started work on 3 different listings (1 existing and 2 new) within a two days of Jeff's initial coaching session.

The existing listing gave very fast results from maybe an hour or two worth of time. It ranks for 8 keywords in either a 3 box or 7 box, 2 of the keywords are for the 1st position.

The other two listings were brand new so I simply set them up and made sure they were 100% complete. I then worked on some citations, and then started checking on the listing for the targeted keywords about 14 days later. 15 days later both showed up for their targeted keywords in either a 1 box or 3 box. Previously the same keywords returned 7 box listings!

I've already gone though Ken's course on Google Places and it was a good course and I feel like I may already have a decent handle on that part, but then again maybe your course offers even more info. Still I don't necessarily have a handle on client procurement and to be honest my goal is to go for higher end clients where the monthly price tag is much higher than $200 per month.

Anyway I'd like to discuss those things with you a bit if you have some time as well as the 50/50 profit split thingy you mentioned above as well on just how that works and what you (or your staff) provides on a monthly basis in such an arrangement.
