Hey Guys,

I Have just recently found this forum so just at the right time. Im in the process of starting a local SEO business. Im fairly persistent at what I do and dont give up until I get results. I have a business already so Im well aware of whats ahead of me.

I was thinking of showing you the steps I will be taking to get this business up and running. I will be buying different products for the local SEO market and I will review them and show you the results. I think this would be great for people looking to get into the business. I have being doing SEO/PPC for about 5years so im fairly confident. I think this forum would be a great place to post my results every week, whats working and not working for me, you can also give your views/opinions/ help.

I think that would be great if you would share your progress with us! I'm wanting to get in to the local SEO market as well, so this would really help me out.

When you mention you will show us the steps to get the business running, are you referring to the steps of SEO to get local business on page 1, on the Google places maps, etc.? I just wanted to be sure I understood you correctly that this is what you were planning to do.

HI Buckey,, sorry for the delay. I can show you the steps if you want but I was under the impression a lot of people would already know how to do this. I will focus more on the marketing side of things. If you havent started doing any work on the SEO business yet, I would highly recommend it. I know have a few clients and am finding this out to be a very profitable business.

Yes I have bought some products but I am not finding them any good. To be honest, I am fairly well versed in online and offline marketing which is why I thought they were no good. Perhaps for a beginner these may be gold.

I bought the sembusinessblueprint.com , quite expensive and didnt teach me anything I did not already know. I also bought a few products from the warrior forum and didnt get much from them either.

I have developed some really good killer marketing ideas thats working brilliant at the moment for me, I will share some of these with you in the future.

One thing I would recommend people on doing for their SEO business is having a launch plan, if you have a launch event you will get a load of clients straight away mad for your service, this is what i did and kept me VERY VERY busy that past few weeks.

Thanks for the interest. Im not going to review any products, not unless their totally kickass. I originally was going to but I found out that I know all the stuff thats being sold (well at least what i purchased).

Ive developed a complete strategy. One that i know will work. As I carry out the different elements I will tweak them to improve performance and tell you about them. These will include some of the following.

1. A Launch Event (How to launch your SEO business while leveraging a charity, this will get a lot of media attention) This worked huge for me. I got 23 appointments in one night, 19 signed as clients.
2. I will show you how to network for business.
3. How to set up a good referral system
4. How to get big joint ventures.
5. How to get involved in seminars (Last saturday I tried this and boy was I surprised with the reaction, I potentially might be getting to talk at 23-25 seminars next year if it falls through.
6. Approaching business's (direct mail, cold calling)
7. How to close a client and sell your services.
8. Carrying out group training (Theres big money to be made doing this)
9. Setting up a sales funnel for higher priced services
10. Setting up many different marketing strategies (Lead box, referral, JV, Advertising, Direct mail)
