My 100th Post and New Forum Idea

OK, for the past months my post count has been at 99 for a very specific reason. More on that in a moment. In the meantime, I would like to propose an idea for a new offline marketing forum for someone to take and run with. It is guaranteed to help a lot of people and get filled up fast.

Here is what I am thinking:

Start a thread about how people are making money in the offline world. I am talking the real stuff here. There will be many people who have been incredibly successful and will give their tips, techniques, and secrets for free just because they like to help others.

Elevate the forum thread by raising the bar and challenging people to actually go out and do this stuff. And you know what? They will! But then a problem will occur. Yes, I can already foresee it.

Oh, forgot to tell you that this new thread needs to be started by a Canadian who wants to get out of the cold and hunker around his computer to keep warm. He will have incredible foresight to maneuver the thread conversation to incredible success.

Back to the problem. Too many people will get helped for free and the forum owner will ban the conversation because it is not making them any money selling useless $7 offers to people to will eventually know better -- but not yet. And that will be that. Yes a lot of people will be helped but it will be all over. On to the next thing.

But wait, like a bad TV infomercial ... there is more! This Canadian and his cohorts who only want to help and not be greedy (the slime) will need to start their own forum. Yes, I think this will work. But the other helper must be English. You know, the queen connection and all.

And together with about 100 other people who want to learn and prosper (against political party rules) and create freedom for themselves will ban together. I can see this new forum getting to over 700 within a few months. Yes, there will opportunistic seekers and those who just like to run up a high post count, but think of all the incredible help it would bring.

You know .. this may just work. But hey, don't tell Dexx about this. Wouldn't want him to thwart our efforts.


OK, anyone want to give it a try?


This tongue in cheek story will only be appreciated by a few. And it is those to whom I write.


(OK, here it is, the reason for my 100th post)


For those of you who have survived this post until now, I would like to share the reason for my 100th post. Back some time ago I committed to not making any more posts until I took action and actually collected a check from what I have learned. And between the incredible training I have received here, the WF and OfflinePro, I received my first check in the amount of $500! .

Another one is coming in about a week from the same person and there will be 20% for any new business I bring in for the next 12 months. It is a small upfront but there is an $18,000 potential.

This is the first time in my life that I have convinced somebody to give me money based on my own initiative, skills, etc.

AND IT FEELS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been my laziness that has kept me from success and I aim to change that. I am not out of the words yet nor running to fill out applications. I am, however, beginning to focus more.

So, Dexx, Jacqui, and the others ... thank you for providing these forums and being so giving. Say what you want about AP (and A LOT have), but it was his posts that got all of this started -- whatever the intention.

From THAT thread, I was convinced that yes I CAN do this. And it was Bayo who whose generosity help to solidify my marketing message to the point that I was able to get my new client's attention (and others) in the first place.

However, it was Dexx and Jacqui who were able to rise above and take what could have been a nuclear disaster and are turning it into an incredible opportunity. For themselves, yes. But mostly for us. I was here on the first day and will be on the last ... however many decades that is.

In the immortal words of Zig Ziglar, "You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want." And I must add, " ... with a pure and unselfish motive."

When I communicate to prospects that I and my team will take care of them ... you all are my team.

I look forward to helping where I can and together we can achieve more business, more profits, and more time to spend blessing others .

P.S. For my 200th post, I will need to have 10 paying/paid clients.

Its been said many times that the first client is the hardest to land, now take the momentum and energy you have going for you and use it to position yourself as a valuable resource in the eyes of other business owners in your area
