Hey there,
So I decided to finally create a free resource that benefits everyone looking for quality information and resources for effective methods of collecting a consistent income by providing marketing services for local businesses in your areas.
This forum will be a change of pace from the traditional "Internet Marketing" forums, in the sense that the focus of discussions will be on providing marketing services for businesses.
The term "offline gold" has typically been used as a reference to going after the big money that exists in working with local businesses to do their marketing...
This "offline gold" forum is different in the sense that the gold does not necessarily represent money as much as it does success.
When I think gold, I think gold medals...awards...achievement.
The Offline Gold Forum is a forum that is dedicated to your success and achievement in obtaining your personal goals and desires through helping businesses achieve there goals as well.
You will be viewed and valued like Gold in the eyes of business owners.
Your heart will feel golden as you see the results you achieve, and help prevent a business from going under and laying off their employees.
But most of all...you will feel obtain true success through the proven strategies and advice that will be shared on this forum.
Products, resources, strategies, and advice...you name it...this forum will have it!
Get ready for the ultimate "go-to" place for anyone looking to greatly change their financial situations by starting their own consulting businesses.
Prepare for Success, and Go for the Gold!
Have fun, and talk to you soon!
~Dexx
Solid Dexx--thanks a lot for creating this forum. Looking forward to the valuable interactions that are certain to come out of this discussion platform.
Cheers,
James
Thanks for doing this Dexx. There was plenty of value in the Warrior discussion, and I'm sure it will keep growing here.
KUDOs Dexx for starting this forum! So glad to see a couple of you guys taking action to keep the momentum going and finding us a new home to continue our discussion on providing services to local businesses.
I'm excited about learning, leading, sharing, and finding gold on and off this forum!!!!!
Iris
I'm really glad it is "you" that started this one Dexx, hopefully because you started the WF super thread as well, this one will flourish in the same open, helpful way!
That thread, was really my best experience I've had in 10 years of screwing around with the Internet.
With the contributions of so many people it allowed me to crystallize my goals and ideals.
The heaps and mounds of seemingly useless (to some) knowledge I've gained about the Net, along with the heaps and mounds of absolute Crap I've collected, have now morphed into a focused, driven, useful purpose for the 30 years of Sales and Marketing skills I have, and the 10 years of IM skills my "addiction" brought about.
Thank you for starting that thread man, it changed my life in about 3 weeks!
All I wanna know is:
"Offline Marketers: What services are you offering for monthly fees?" lol

Thanks Dexx, for starting this forum!. I would love to see a thread with bullet-ed "best of how to better our offline marketing endeavors"? The problem I had with the WF offline thread was almost an overflowing amount of juicy tidbits of information, making it difficult for me to grasp it all. Of course that could be a problem for meor did anyone else fell this way?
You the Man Dexx
Wow, JD. I could have written your post!
You da man, Dexx! Thanks for doing this. Now I can get my daily fix of contribution and learning, between taking action!![]()
Thanks Dexx, you da man!
If you don't have a system for selling, you are at the mercy of the prospect's system for buying and trust me, their system doesn't work.
Thank you for inviting me to this forum, Dexx. It's a shame that your huge thread is closed on WF, but that's their loss.
This will be an awesome resource!
Thanks for starting this forum Dexx! I hope it grows in the same way that your thread in WF did.
Hi Dexx,
Thanks for keeping the info flow available here. The WF thread was so remarkable --- such a great learning resource.
So glad we'll have the chance to keep it going.
JL
Thanks for creating this awesome forum Dexx. I have received tremendous value from your knowledge so thanks for sharing.
scott
Hey Dexx, thanks for creating this nice forum.
I hope the same synergy we saw at the WF thread continues here.
Is there a way to enable avatars? Also, is it possible, to make a suggestions subforum for user input - to report bugs, make suggestions etc?
Cool Dexx I am sure that will be very valuable information on this forums
Welcome to the 'Official Off-line Marketing/Consultant Gold Forum.
Dexx did a great job on this! (Thanx, my friend) As I understand it, affiliate links to useful programs are allowed. Hopefully there will no need for a moderator as I am sure everyone here will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Should ever a need arise to delete or close a post, a reason will be given to help avoid anyone from making the same mistake. Keep in mind, we all make mistakes, even mods and admins,so be nice. If you have an issue with how anything is handled, there will be 'no board' discussions about it.
My email is dogsscout (at) gmail (dot) com and any info emailed to me I will post on the Admin board.
Lets have a great time, learn a bunch and make a ton of money while helping the worlds economy at the same time. There could not be a better time to enter this business. Every one of you is in a position to help a whole lot of people and make a whole lot of money while doing it. And unlike IM, where the success rate is very low, this niche has a very high percentage of success.
I would also like to mention AP who has very generously shared years of experience with us at no cost. I have never before heard so many success stories from a single source's sharing. Thank-you AP, you have certainly earned an immortal place in my life and heart.
Dexx this is what I've been looking for lately. Thanks for branching out and giving us this place for us. Can't thank you enough. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Dexx!
Every time a great thread gets going over on the WF, it ends up getting locked or nuked. Normally, you'd kill to get over-active threads like that.
I kept thinking, "Geez, this one thread could really be many different threads in a separate forum." The logical thing to do when you get a really hot topic is to split it into another discussion board. But in all the years I've been on the WF, that has never happened with a really hot thread. These offline threads have just gotten locked and eventually deleted.
Well, the WF's loss is our gain! I'm WAY happier to have this place!
Anyway, there are TONS of resources we can all refer each other to, and many of us can offer our own services to others. I'm glad aff links will be permitted!
I much prefer to do back-end stuff to being out selling. So anybody who needs any tech work done, let me know.
-David
We willl teach you how to sell, don't worry
The problem with WF is it's way too crowded. 100 million people and you need to bookmark/subscribe to any good thread or they get pushed down really fast. There are also tons of redundant threads. It's just far too many people. I like small forums much better, You really get to know the people and become closer, like family.
Thank You Dexx for starting this forum!
Thomas
Thanks Dexx! Should be a great place to hang out and start making more money!
Thank you! Thank you so much for starting this forum, Dexx!
Now I can get my fix everyday, lol
Nice one! Was gutted when that thread got closed. Is AP here yet?![]()
Good stuff Dexx! And much appreciated.
Hopefully, this can pickup where it was cut off. Thanks for putting this together Dexx.
Hi Dexx,
way to go! I saw that your WF thread was locked and then somebody else started a thread as part 2. It only got about 7 replies before the thread disappeared. I had been following along the whole time and it felt so empty after they locked the thread. My confidence level was built up a little at the time and I loved it. I really wish you success with your forum. Can I promote it? Thanks again, Eva
Promote it? Hell Eva this site is just as much yours as it is mine!
I want this site to have links, tips, strategies, to all the best marketing resources there are!
A one-stop shop for hitting success via Offline Marketing to businesses =)
To everyone else, thank you for the kind words, and I look forward to seeing all of you starting discussions and joining conversations as you take action every day towards hitting your goals!
I'm busy trying to put finishing touches on some cool new features for this forum, and then I'll have more time to share some of my strategies and experiences =)
Cheers,
~Dexx
I like the whole family approach dremora mentioned. The way I got a taste of success in my online community was to start out with my neighborhood friends who participated in my "Live Your Peace group movie project". Then I focused my communication online on helping the people I knew with their Big Mission. Then I discovered the forum the Warrior Forum last month and saw the potential of online forums to meet and learn from cool, helpful people. Thanks Dexx for being one of them and leading me here!![]()

hey, "me here"
glad to see you.
You probably made the same mistake I did with your profile pic.
The "Profile Pic" is different than the "Avatar Pic".
It only shows up in your profile. The "Avatar Pic" shows up in all your posts.

Great site Dexx. Just promise you won't close any OFFline threads, lol.

Bonjour AP!
No worries, I've said from the very beginning that the only threads I'll lock are the ones that inspire people to take action and improve their lives and the lives of those in the community...
If I find a thread that's generating too much excitement, and motivating too many people...it'll be dealt with accordingly!
I want a forum built on false promises, overhyped product claims, and push-button money generating solutions!!
Oh wait...wrong forum
Heh heh heh
~Dexx
Just wanted to say Thanks to all - in particular:
Dexx (for starting out the thread in WF and now coming up with this Awesome OGF)
AP] for being the "Godfather" in sharing his wisdom in WF and now here
DogScout who I've noticed has actively taken on the responsibility of being mod here
sorry if I've missed anybody!
Muchos gracias hombres!
Look forward to Giving & Learning here
> Will do an intro in the intro thread

Thanks Dexx!
Glad to be here...
Thanks Dexx it was needed! Unfortunately WF sometimes forces people out. Great to see all main players joined here too.
Thanks Dexx for inviting me to this forum.
Only found the warrior thread after it had closed
so did not get a chance to contribute.
Also don't know if this is just me but WF is a little
bit intimidating - this forum feels a whole
lot more friendly!
Thanks for setting this up, Dexx and good to see it going so well with so much useful info being shared so freely.
Nah, its not just you, WF comes across as very "omg you n00b thats been posted SOOOOO many times," not so much a community as it is a shopping mall of information...latest promotions / WSOs / upcoming product promotions etc.
You could ask a really great question, and within 2 hours it's disappeared into the void of the WF wasteland due to the constant barrage of PPC / Article Marketing / Backlinks posts that fill up the various areas.
That's why my goal is to actually build a community of people that have experiences to share and have things they are looking to learn about, all focused on the topic of offline marketing/consulting...a forum where every thread is useful and benefits the community...not just useless garbage...and one that doesn't require membership to access the good stuff. =)
Now it's just a matter of growing it and bringing in more and more knowledge for the group to share amongst each other!
Cheers,
~Dexx
PS - Thanks everyone for the kind comments, I have all of you to thank as you took action in deciding you wanted to learn and contribute to this forum, which is something I can't do just on my own...together we'll make this the greatest offline marketing forum on the net!
I've had two accounts on WF get nuked. One had over 2000 posts. And last time I checked before it was nuked, over half of the posts I'd made had been deleted, mainly b/c the threads they were in got deleted. I'm much happier hanging out over here than at the WF. It's more focused, relevant to what I'm up to, and not full of idiots asking things like "What do people think of product xyz?" and "what's the best away to make a buck?"

Dexx,
Thank you so much for starting this forum, it was just what I was looking for! I'm working my way through the WF thread, on page 9 with 50 pages of notes already - this stuff is pure gold! I've been working on and off with offline clients for nearly 2 years and it's very clear to me where I went wrong, what to do to rectify that and start rebuilding my offline business the way it should have been built originally. One of my biggest mistakes was thinking because I could do most of the work myself, that I should be doing it myself - duh!
Looking forward to being an active member of this fantastic forum.
Lesley
Dexx, it may not have the volume of WF yet, but it's super targeted. Thanks for starting this forum.

So pleased I bought one of Dexx's WSO's and discovered this forum - I'm brand new to offline marketing and can see there's gonna be plenty for me to learn in here!!!
aaaaaaagggggghhhhhhh - info overload ahead![]()
I've been searching for a forum about offline business which i'm very interested in.
I've started reading and learning for about 1-2 weeks in my spare time and i also bought several courses from wf.
I wanna thank Dexx and everybody else for making this forum active and full of great info.
I hope i'll submit my success story soon on the board, the only problem i have is that i'm from Europe and i would like to touch US market but i can't meet the clients and i'm looking for the best approaches out there.
I hope i will finally do it
Thank again guys

Thanks Dexx for opening this forum. I'm finding a tremendous value in it. Are you thinking to open a WOM section or forum here so members can discuss WOM tips, etc.? Word of Mouth Marketing.
Prob easier to just create a thread on the subject in the main discussion forum and people can discuss it one easy to read place =)
Dexx, have you noticed that this forum is aligned to the right? Maybe you thought to put some ads on the left side or something and never did. I always have to scroll the horizontal scrolling bar to the right to view this forum centered. I'm using latest version of firefox but happens under I.E. 8 too.
The theme is centered-based, I never did anything with the alignment...its been fine on all the computer I've used it with...you have to scroll over to see it?
Odd...hrmmm dunno what to say since I never adjusted anything...
Anyone else have this problem that cares to take a screenshot of what it looks like in a full-sized screen?
~Dexx
Dexx, check my image attached. Desktop resolution is 1024x768.
